Radius Leaders’ is a nurse-owned company on a mission is to provide practical skill development
support and partnership to frontline nurse leaders around the globe. For 6 years, we have been
delivering bespoke support to senior healthcare leaders who don’t have the internal resources,
bandwidth or capacity to upskill their leaders, but want to provide supportive learning to
change outcomes.

In the challenging landscape of healthcare today, nurse leaders are the center of improvement,
though there are many reasons why many nurse leaders feel defeated and disabled to have an
impact. But we believe that a skilled nurse leader is a saved nurse leader. And a saved nurse
leader saves healthcare.

CEO, Principal, & Founder
Greta Rosler MSN RN NEA-BC CPXP

Greta Rosler is an experienced nurse leader with a background in frontline nursing leadership, patient experience leadership, and nurse leader professional development.  Her professional passion is nurse leader development and adoption of evidence-based best practices, such as nurse leader rounds.

Greta is the CEO and Principal of Radius Leaders, a nurse leader development partnership company she founded in 2017.  Since then, she has offered nurse leaders customized programs, facilitated learning, and coaching and mentoring that enables their success at organizations such as Kaiser Permanente, University of Florida, Temple University Health System, CHI (Dignity), UPMC, Northern Light Health, Jefferson, Lehigh Valley Health Network, Evangelical Community Hospital, Penn Medicine, St. Lukes University Health Network, Christus, and Lahey Health.  Her work with leaders around the globe led to development of Radius Leaders’ Skilled Nurse Leader© and O.W.N. Your Rounds© Programs, which foster improvement through partnership with frontline nurse leaders, enabling them to adopt authentic leadership skills and implement effective leader rounding and all the necessary “wraparound” skills that accompany it.  This work has resulted in organizational reductions in nurse and leader turnover, improved fall rates, improved PX perceptions, improved employee engagement, and most importantly, improved nurse leader confidence and fulfillment.

Greta serves as a subject matter expert for multiple companies and nonprofit organizations in the PX and healthcare-engagement space.  She is currently pursuing her PhD and plans to study nurse leaders’ experiences and beliefs about rounding, as well as the impact of nurse leader rounding approaches and variations.  She is an active volunteer with a local nonprofit in her community, dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities.  One of her most rewarding achievements and jobs is as a volunteer camp director for a local summer program which teaches individuals with disabilities to ride a two-wheeled bicycle.

When not working with nurse leaders or supporting her community, Greta finds the most joy in the kitchen and spending time with her partner of 20 years and their three sons, while creating boundaries and good habits for them, overseeing chores and schedules, and playing taxi driver.

Stephanie Rarig MSN, RN, CCRN

Stephanie Rarig is a nurse leader with nearly 15 years of experience, 10 of which have been in a variety of frontline mentoring and leadership roles.  With a background in critical care nursing and current oversight of multiple inpatient areas and teams as a regional nursing director within the Geisinger Health System, her accomplishments include: redesigning a clinical ladder program within her department, development of compliance guidelines and an engagement strategy that led to zero findings during regulatory surveys, institution of a daily interprofessional rounding algorithm and process, oversight and leadership of an internal rounding strategy with her co-leaders resulting in above-benchmark NDNQI quality and safety outcomes for her care teams (totaling 250 employees) and an increase from 1st to 93rd percentile in PX rankings, and implementation of an early mobility initiative to improve patient outcomes and a system agitation scale to support staff safety.

Stephanie has extensive experience at leading new teams – and leaders – to improved outcomes (including achievement of Silver Beacon Award designation), and has demonstrated expertise in productivity best practices, mentoring other leaders in this capacity as well.  Most recently, she is serving as an instrumental leader in the business planning for a major hospital expansion within her organization.

When not consumed by operational leadership of a hospital or helping other nurse leaders through Radius, she holds the title of dance mom for her two daughters and enjoys spending time with her family, dogs, and husband.

One of Ama’s proudest professional moments was leading a nursing care team in a post-merger period and supporting their growth from a low-performing unit with many quality opportunities to a cohesive team that demonstrated clinical excellence and ultimately became Magnet-designated.  Ama believes we all have something unique to offer and consistently, her clients gain clarity and confidence to cultivate healthy work environments and build authentic professional relationships and establish action plans that position them and their teams for success.

If she’s not busy coaching or leading, you will find Ama spending time with her husband and two children exploring and appreciating all NYC has to offer. Additionally, she loves traveling, going to the beach, reading nonfiction books and cooking for those closest to her.

Sunilka Thompson, MSN, RN, CPXP, NE-BC

Sunilka is a passionate nurse leader with over two decades of dedicated experience in nursing.  She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work with Radius, which stems from her current role as a Clinical Director in Perioperative Services for Penn Medicine, specializing in Perianesthesia and Procedural Areas.  Sunilka’s journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University, followed by a Master’s in the Science of Nursing from Wilmington University. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice at West Chester University, with an anticipated graduation in Spring 2025.  Her clinical background spans across various departments including Med-Surg, Emergency Department, Same Day Surgery, and Cath Lab, providing her with a diverse skill set and understanding of patient needs.

One of Sunilka’s greatest joys is improving the patient experience, whether it’s through bedside care or implementing innovative programs.  She has led and participated in implementation of significant departmental and system improvement work within her organization, such as a Surgical Nurse Liaison Program to enhance patient satisfaction and communication between healthcare providers, surgical patients, and their families, or as a High Reliability Organization (HRO) educator.  In that capacity, she has had the opportunity to share expertise and foster process improvement for more than 1,000 leaders within Penn Medicine.

Sunilka is also dedicated to fostering a positive work environment for her team, and she leads the hospital-wide Daisy Award Program initiative to recognize outstanding nursing professionals.  Through her efforts, the program has been converted to an efficient electronic nomination system, leading to a 2000% increase in monthly nominations.  She is committed to nurturing the next generation of nurse leaders through intentional mentorship and learning, and brings that passion to her work with others through Radius.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Sunilka is happily married to her wonderful husband of 15 years, and together they are proud parents to two beautiful daughters, aged 13 and 14. They enjoy family time, cheering for the Sixers, music, and summer road trips.
